tve 1 on band 1 went into a video loop giving veiwers advice on switching to digital and this will run untill april the 3rd then the transmitter will be closed. i know alot of dxers have alot of fondness for tve like an old friend popping in but personally once you receive it it turns into a pest especially when you see other carriers almost at video level but you have no chance of seeing them when tve is like a local.
i must admit it was tve that got me into vhf tv dxing as it was the first station i received but myself and i am sure most of the EA 6 meter ops will not lose any sleep over it going off as for me i might get some good dx coming in and the EA stations will get on 6 meters.
below is the last recording i got from tve1 its not the best but the last one i will ever get unless i get the video loop before april the 3rd. you can also hear rai video tone coming in with the audio
