although some huge signals yesterday especially 0300 and the likes of WWVA WOOD WLIB were at local levels there is still not what i call real dx coming in as yet but with these strong signals it gives other dxers the chance of logging some new ones and as i have said before what i call common stations will be dx for other guys. this morning was similar to yesterday in the stations that were coming in but i have only had a quick scan of my recordings and hopefully more to follow ....

All depends on your perspective - many would argue there was real dx hitting the smoke yesterday...DX is not just distance it is also taking advantage of enhanced propagation to log stations not normally audible.
ReplyDeletehi i am not talking about distances i am talking about rare or stations i have not received before and as i said on my post what i class as common receptions others class as dx . when i say " real dx " of coarse west coast usa would be nice but a rare or low power east coast station is just as exciting
